- Community-Based Electronic Nutrition Recording and Reporting — an individual, posyandu-based recording system.

- First 1,000 days
- The first 1,000 days of life — from conception to age two, the critical window for preventing stunting.

- N4G
- Nutrition for Growth — a global summit for nutrition funding and policy commitments.

- Prevalence
- The proportion of a population with a condition at a given time, expressed as a percentage.
S
- Sensitive nutrition intervention
- Actions addressing the indirect causes of stunting (e.g. clean water, sanitation, education, economy) across sectors.
- Specific nutrition intervention
- Actions addressing the direct causes of stunting (e.g. nutrient intake, disease), usually in the health sector.
- SSGI
- Indonesian Nutrition Status Survey — a national sample-based survey measuring nutrition status, including stunting prevalence.
- Stunting
- Impaired growth and development in children from chronic malnutrition and repeated infection, marked by length/height below the standard.
- SUN
- Scaling Up Nutrition — a global movement uniting governments and partners to accelerate nutrition improvement.

- Wasting
- Acute malnutrition: very low weight for height, usually from rapid weight loss.
